Raman Aso (1996) is a Kurdish conceptual painter and illustrator based in London, who’s niche lies in creating compelling images that capture the darkness committed by man’s own senselessness. Her creative process revolves around contemporary figurative painting, whilst exploring mood, tone and themes of existentialism juxtaposed with ideas of fragile beauty. Though a figurative painter, the heart of her work has always been how they evoke emotion rather than the narratives.
